CLASSIC FUN AND FAVORITE TRADER ENTERTAINMENT

Rogue Trader (Video) 1998
Starring Ewan McGregor

Anyone contemplating trading should see this movie just to feel the insidious desperation and stress of trying to fix losing trades by simply creating a little more margin. This is the poignantly true story of Leeson, a Forex Trader for Britain’s prestigious Barings Bank, who caused the bank’s complete collapse with his rogue trading and was imprisoned in the mid-90’s. The Day Trader
- Paperback Fiction
On the basis of previous novels such as The Vulture Fund (1996) and The Inner Sanctum (1997), Frey could be called the Grisham of financial thrillers. Here, he offers an interestingly implausible story of the murder-mix-up world of a novice day trader (in stocks). We patiently predict that the day of The Forex Thriller will come. Click Here

Forex Movie
Rollover (Video) 1981
Starring Jane Fonda and Kris Kristofferson
Director Alan J Pakula calls this financial science fiction, others call it paranoid conspiracy theory. We found the most fascinating feature of this movie was the antique computer equipment used at the time. But still, in a surprising absence of movies dealing with the exciting world of Forex Trading, this historical precedent movie is really the reason every dedicated forex trader will want to see it. Wall Street (Video) 1987

Wall Street is the subtle movie by Oliver Stone  that Michael Douglas won an Oscar for perfectly embodying the credo that “greed is good.” As a  Wall Street raider Douglas found a role tailor-made to his skill in portraying heartless men who’ve sacrificed humanity to power. He’s a slick, seductive role model for the young ambitious Wall Street broker played by Charlie Sheen, who falls into Douglas’ sphere of influence and instantly succumbs to the allure of risky deals and generous payoffs.

Forex Trainers Education Center for Peak Performance Trading

Posted by admin | Editors Desk | Sunday 14 September 2008 10:13 am

We’re excited about Forex Trainer’s new online home; it is a major reconstruction and (at this posting) not yet visible online.

Reconstructing a website is like trying to build something concrete on an ethereal estate lot, as opposed to real estate lot.   That is because the largest component of any site is not the file folders living on some server somewhere; it is not even the valuable content contained in those files.  Rather, it is built from the ethereal intangibles like keywords, weblinks, site components.

In fact from the very first brick in its foundation, which is to say from the very first binary digit, a website is really the ultimate ether castle in the air, for a website is entirely dependent on precise software code that make it all miraculously appear and function properly when you click GO. One keyboard character out of place and the entire site may not be able to exist, much less rise up from the ethers. But the self evident fact is that a web “site” is in real terms internet real estate, and that intangible can indeed become tangible and make a real difference in the world and in the lives of real world dwellers, as in the case of our online training facility.

Forex Trainers opened its web-doors when forex trading first became available online in the mid-1990’s   Like any successful accomplishment,  whether online or offline, our training facility was created from the highest form of intangible like “vision” and “purpose”  and concepts in the minds of forex industry experts.  These experts recognized that with the advent of the personal computer and the new proliferation of online trading came the vital need to provide the highest possible trader education to the self trader – those  new inexperienced traders who for the first time would be trading the foreign currency market with banks and large corporations, who had dominated the trading markets until then.

In leveling the playing field for the self trader, one man in particular, has lead the way — we’ve been very proud and grateful to have former University Educator at the Masters Level, Trader Rick Smith, to help guide Forex Trainers from its first inception to its new reincarnation today.

The new site will include many new, dare we say miraculous, constructs that our large team of talented programmers have been hard at work developing –  state of the art training course software that tracks your learning progress, keeps your study calendar, grades your tests, even awards you a diploma.

Then there is all the “campus” construction like forums, and other types of social and teacher/student interactive communication  — like this blog for instance.

Then there is the marketing team who work closely with the website design team, building in to the online structure road signs to make it easy for ether space travelers to find us among the more than two million websites on the internet.  Like building in meta tags, for example,  written in precise SEO Speak (search engine language).

Of course none of this would amount to anything without our gifted course authors sharing with us all their years of experience and knowledge and materializing it into valuable, high quality education.  With a special acknowledgement to their team of assistants entering every word carefully into our online university course-ware, we will at last be able to see “Forex Trainers - Education Center for Peak Performance Trading” manifested before our eyes.

What Is RSS?

You may have been seeing those little orange RSS or XML buttons around the Internet. If you were wondering what they are…

It’s “the next big thing” — you can use it to get newsfeeds from CNN or BBC, as well as just about anything else, including news on upcoming movies, DVD releases, your favorite musician’s tour updates, etc.

You can wake up in the morning and your iPod, or email will be fully loaded with your favorite interests, information and useful info all conveniently filed in folders awaiting you.

“RSS” means “Really Simple Syndication.” What it means to you is that when you subscribe to a site that has an RSS feed, you can keep up-to-date without having to check the site every day or week. Once you start, you will be amazed at how much RSS can do for you!  It’ll save you tons of time keeping you current on your ”must have” information, and it is the definition of convenience!  Conveniently receive content you actually want and read it at your own convenience.
